§ 126 — District enlarged

Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 70 SPECIAL DISTRICTS·Act 70 ILCS 2605/ Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act.
As of August 2, 1949, the corporate limits of the Sanitary District of Chicago are hereby extended so as to embrace and include within the same the territory and tracts of land situated in the County of Cook and State of Illinois, hereinafter described as follows: That portion of Section Ten (10), Township Thirty-eight (38) North, Range Twelve (12) East of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section Ten (10); thence North along the West line of said Section Ten (10) a distance of Four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-two and Fifty-one hundredths (4,752.51) feet, more or less to a point on said West line Five Hundred Seventy-four and Seven tenths (574.7) feet South of the Northwest corner of Section Ten (10); thence Southeasterly along a
