§ 7-1-32

If the specified authorities agree as to the amount to be paid by the enlarged annexing municipality, each of the authorities concerned shall pass an ordinance or a resolution reciting the amount to be paid. A certified copy of the ordinance or resolution shall be filed by the clerk of the annexing municipality with the county clerk of the county in which the annexing municipality is situated. The county clerk shall send a certified copy to the State Auditor of Public Accounts. This ordinance or resolution shall be conclusive as to the amount of indebtedness and liabilities to be assumed and paid by the enlarged annexing municipality.
