Text
The owner of any watercraft exempt from Section 3A-1(a) of this Act may apply to the Department of Natural Resources for a certificate of title by filing an application accompanied by the prescribed fee. Any owner exempt from this Act who obtains a certificate of title must also obtain a certificate of number as prescribed in Section 3-9 of this Act.
