§ 13C-75 — Home rule
Illinois·Topic TRANSPORTATION·Ch. 625 VEHICLES·Act 625 ILCS 5/ Illinois Vehicle Code.·Art. Chapter 13C - Emission Inspection
The vehicle emission inspection program created by this Chapter is hereby declared to be the subject of exclusive State jurisdiction. Pursuant to subsection (h) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution, the exercise by a home rule unit of any power that is inconsistent with this Chapter is hereby specifically denied and preempted.
