Text
(a)The plans and specifications for the Illiana Expressway project must comply with:
(1)the Department's standards for other projects of a similar nature or as otherwise provided in the public private agreement;
(2)the Professional Engineering Practice Act of 1989, the Structural Engineering Practice Act of 1989, the Illinois Architecture Practice Act of 1989, and the Illinois Professional Land Surveyor Act of 1989; and (3) any other applicable State or federal standards.
(b)The Illiana Expressway constructed is considered to be part of the State highway system for purposes of identification, maintenance standards, and enforcement of traffic laws under the jurisdiction of the Department.
