§ 80-5 — Injury to a member of public by special use herptiles

A person who possesses a special use herptile without complying with the requirements of this Act and the rules adopted under the authority of this Act and whose special use herptile causes bodily harm to a person when the possessor knew or should have known that the herptile had a propensity, when provoked or unprovoked, to harm, cause injury to, or otherwise substantially endanger a member of the public is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
