Text

Any person or business who engages in herpetoculture, the sale, or the offer for sale of any indigenous herptile, regardless of origin, shall procure a Herpetoculture permit from the Department. Herptiles for which a Herpetoculture permit is issued or that are bred, hatched, propagated, or legally obtained by a person or business holding a Herpetoculture permit may be transported and sold or offered for sale within this State. Indigenous herptile taxa collected from the wild in this State shall not be bred unless otherwise authorized by this Act or administrative rule.
