§ 40-10 — Permit requirements

The criteria and standards for a Herptile Scientific Collection permit shall be provided by administrative rule. The Department shall set forth applicable rules covering qualifications and facilities needed to obtain a permit. Disposition of herptiles taken under the authority of this Article shall be specified by the Department. The holder of each permit shall make to the Department a report in writing upon forms furnished by the Department as provided by administrative rule. These reports shall be made (i) annually if the permit is granted for a period of one year or (ii) within 30 days after the expiration of the permit if the permit is granted for a period of less than one year. These reports shall include all information that is required by the Department.
