Text
The Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board shall conduct or approve a training program in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for law enforcement officers of local law enforcement agencies. The purpose of that training shall be to equip law enforcement officers of local law enforcement agencies to identify the symptoms of PTSD and to respond appropriately to individuals exhibiting those symptoms.
