§ 105 — Contracts

Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 45 INTERSTATE COMPACTS·Act 45 ILCS 35/ Quad Cities Interstate Metropolitan Authority Act.
All contracts entered into by the Authority for the construction, reconstruction, and improvement of metropolitan facilities shall be entered into pursuant to and shall comply with applicable State laws. However, if the Authority determines an emergency exists, it may enter into contracts obligating the Authority for not more than $100,000 per emergency without regard to the requirements of applicable State laws, and the Authority may proceed with the necessary action as expeditiously as possible to the extent necessary to resolve the emergency.
