(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec.
91.Civil action and civil penalties. In addition to the other penalties and remedies provided in this Act, the Comptroller may bring a civil action in the county of residence of the licensee or any other person to enjoin any violation or threatened violation of this Act. In addition to any other penalty provided by law, any person who violates this Act shall forfeit and pay a civil penalty to the Comptroller in an amount not to exceed $5,000 for each violation as determined by the Comptroller. The civil penalty shall be assessed by the Comptroller in accordance with the provisions of this Act. Any civil penalty shall be paid within 60 days after the effective date of the order imposing the civil penalty. The order shall constitute
