Supervisor of general assistance in incorporated town which has superseded a civil township-Other staff. In an incorporated town which has superseded a civil township, the supervisor of such incorporated town shall be ex officio Supervisor of General Assistance. The governing body of the incorporated town may by ordinance provide for the appointment of other employees as may be necessary to provide public aid under Article VI, and fix their compensation.
