Text
Subject to appropriations or other funding, the Department of Human Services may establish a pilot program to place hard-to-employ persons, including persons who have been released from a county jail or a facility under the jurisdiction of the Department of Corrections, in jobs. By rule, the Department shall determine the location in which the pilot program is to be implemented and the services to be provided. In determining locations for the pilot program, however, the Department shall give priority to areas of the State in which the concentration of released offenders is the highest. The Department may consult with the Department of Corrections in establishing the pilot program.
