(Text of Section from P.A. 104-25) Sec. 6z-82. State Police Operations Assistance Fund.

(a)There is created in the State treasury a special fund known as the State Police Operations Assistance Fund. The Fund shall receive revenue under the Criminal and Traffic Assessment Act, the Illinois Hazardous Materials Transportation Act, and the Illinois Motor Carrier Safety Law. The Fund may also receive revenue from grants, donations, appropriations, and any other legal source. (a-5) This Fund may charge, collect, and receive fees or moneys as described in Section 15-312 of the Illinois Vehicle Code and receive all fees received by the Illinois State Police under that Section. The moneys shall be used by the Illinois State Police for its expenses in providing police escorts and commercial vehicle
