Text
The General Professions Dedicated Fund is created in the State treasury. Moneys in the Fund shall be invested and earnings on the investments shall be retained in the Fund. Moneys in the Fund shall be appropriated to the Department of Professional Regulation for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Department, except for moneys transferred under Section 19 of the Sex Offender Management Board Act which shall be appropriated for the purpose of implementing the provisions of the Sex Offender Evaluation and Treatment Provider Act. Moneys in the Fund may be transferred to the Professions Indirect Cost Fund as authorized by Section 2105-300 of the Department of Professional Regulation Law (20 ILCS 2105/2105-300).
