Text

(a)The Local Coronavirus Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund, or Local CURE Fund, is created as a federal trust fund within the State treasury. The Local CURE Fund shall be held separate and apart from all other funds of the State. The Local CURE Fund is established:
(1)to receive transfers from either the Disaster Response and Recovery Fund or the State Coronavirus Urgent Remediation Emergency (State CURE) Fund of federal funds received by the State from the Coronavirus Relief Fund in accordance with Section 5001 of the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act or pursuant to any other provision of federal law; and (2) to provide for the administration and payment of grants and expense reimbursements to units of local government as permitted in the federal Coronav
