Investigators appointed by the Board pursuant to the powers conferred upon the Board by paragraph (20.6) of subsection (c) of Section 5 of the Illinois Gambling Act and Section 80 of this Act shall have authority to conduct investigations, searches, seizures, arrests, and other duties imposed under this Act and the Illinois Gambling Act, as deemed necessary by the Board. These investigators have and may exercise all of the rights and powers of peace officers, provided that these powers shall be (1) limited to offenses or violations occurring or committed in connection with conduct subject to this Act, including, but not limited to, the manufacture, distribution, supply, operation, placement, service, maintenance, or play of video gaming terminals and the distribution of profits and collect
