(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec. 45-60. Stenographers. The Department, at its expense, shall provide a stenographer to preserve a record of all formal hearing proceedings if a license may be revoked, suspended, or placed on probationary status or other disciplinary action is taken. Any registrant or licensee who is found to have violated this Act or who fails to appear for a hearing to refuse to issue, restore, or renew a license or to discipline a licensee may be required by the Department to pay for the costs of the proceeding. These costs are limited to costs for court reporters, transcripts, and witness attendance and mileage fees. The Secretary may waive payment of costs by a registrant or licensee in whole or in part where there is an undue financial hardshi
