(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2028) Sec. 15-15. Complaints; investigations; hearings. The Department may investigate the actions of any applicant or of any person or persons rendering or offering to render services or any person holding or claiming to hold a license under this Code. When the Department receives a complaint against a licensee regarding violations of this Act, the Department shall inspect the premises of the licensee. When the Department receives a complaint against a licensee relating to the mishandling of human remains or the misidentification of human remains, the Department shall inspect the premises named in the complaint within 10 business days after receipt of the complaint.
