(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2028) Sec. 1-10. Definitions. As used in this Code: "Address of record" means the designated address recorded by the Department in the applicant's or licensee's application file or license file. "Applicant" means any person making application for a license. Any applicants or people who hold themselves out as applicants are considered licensees for purposes of enforcement, investigation, hearings, and the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act. "Board" means the Funeral Directors and Embalmers Licensing and Disciplinary Board. "Certificate of Death" means a certificate of death as referenced in the Illinois Vital Records Act.
