Text
No insurance policy authorized under Class 1, 2 or 3 of Section 4 of this Code shall be delivered in this State unless the policyholder or certificate holder is provided written notice of:
(1)the address of the complaint department of the insurance company; and (2) the address of the Public Service Division of the Department of Insurance or its successor. The Director may, by rule, exempt certain types of insurance policies from the provisions of this Section whenever the application of this Section in such cases would be unwarranted or unduly burdensome in view of any benefit to the public.
