(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2057) Sec. 123B-1. Purpose. The purpose of this Article is to regulate the formation or operation, or both, of risk retention groups and purchasing groups in Illinois formed pursuant to the provisions of the federal Liability Risk Retention Act of 1986 to the extent permitted by such law.
