The Governor shall appoint an Ambulatory Surgical Treatment Center Licensing Board composed of 12 persons. Four members shall be practicing physicians; one member shall be a practicing podiatric physician; one member shall be a dentist who has been licensed to perform oral surgery; one member shall be an Illinois registered professional nurse who is employed in an ambulatory surgical treatment center; one member shall be a person actively engaged in the supervision or administration of a health facility; and 4 members shall represent the general public and shall have no personal economic interest in any institution, place or building licensed pursuant to this Act.
