(a)As used in this Section, unless the context requires otherwise:
(1)"Participant" means an individual with Alzheimer's disease or a disease of a related type, particularly in the moderate to severe stage, whose care, needs and behavioral problems make it difficult for the individual to participate in existing care programs. The individual may be 60 years of age or older on the presumption that he or she is a prospective recipient of service under this Act.
(2)"Disease of a related type" means any of those irreversible brain disorders which result in the symptoms described in paragraph (4). This includes but is not limited to multi-infarct dementia and Parkinson's disease.
(3)"Grantee" means any public or private nonprofit agency selected by the Department to develop a care program fo
