The Illinois Children's Justice Task Force, in compliance with (i) the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) (42 U.S.C. 5106c), as amended by Public Law 111-320;
(ii)the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 (42 U.S.C. 10603), as amended; and (iii) Section 116 of the CAPTA Reauthorization Act of 2010, shall be charged with the exploration, research, and development of recommendations on a multidisciplinary team approach for the investigation of reports of abuse or neglect of children under the age of 18. The Illinois Children's Justice Task Force shall submit a report to the General Assembly by January 31, 2016 regarding, but not limited to, its recommendations for a statewide multidisciplinary approach to child abuse or neglect investigations.
