Text

(a)In order to promote a comprehensive, statewide and multidisciplinary approach to serving pregnant women and mothers, including those who are minors, and their children who are affected by substance use disorders, the Department shall have responsibility for an ongoing exchange of referral information among the following:
(1)those who provide medical and social services to pregnant women, mothers and their children, whether or not there exists evidence of a substance use disorder. These include any other State-funded medical or social services to pregnant women.
(2)providers of treatment services to women affected by substance use disorders.
