§ 2310-665 — Educational materials on streptococcal infection

Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 20 EXECUTIVE BRANCH·Act 20 ILCS 2310/ Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. (Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law)

The Department, in conjunction with the Illinois State Board of Education, shall develop educational material on streptococcal infection for distribution in elementary and secondary schools. The material shall include, but not be limited to:

(1)a process to notify parents or guardians of an outbreak in the school;
(2)a process to provide information on all of the symptoms of streptococcal infection to teachers, parents, and students; and (3) guidelines for schools to control the spread of streptococcal infections.
