Text

(a)The Department of Public Health shall designate a member of its staff to handle men's health issues not currently or adequately addressed by the Department.
(b)The staff person's duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
(1)Assisting in the assessment of the health needs of men in the State.
(2)Recommending treatment methods and programs that are sensitive and reference materials to service providers, organizations, and other agencies.
(3)Promoting awareness of men's health concerns and encouraging, promoting, and aiding the establishment of men's services.
(4)Providing adequate and effective opportunities for men to express their views on Department policy development, program implementation, and interdepartmental coordination of men's services.
