(a)In this Section: "Child" refers to a person under the 18 years of age. "Human trafficking" means a violation or attempted violation of Section 10-9 of the Criminal Code of 2012. "Human trafficking" includes trafficking of children and adults for both labor and sex services.
(b)Working with other State agencies and in collaboration with the Department of Human Services, the Department of Labor shall develop training for State health inspectors, Department of Labor investigators, licensing inspectors, and other relevant government regulators on indications of human trafficking, including child trafficking, in industries at high risk for labor trafficking, including, but not limited to, restaurants, hotels, construction, and agriculture and how to respond if trafficking is suspected.
