§ 150-10 — Resolution for bond issuance; referendum

Beginning August 16, 1993, the board of managers elected under Section 150-15 in a township having a population of not more than 25,000 (according to the last preceding federal census) shall initiate proceedings for the issuance of bonds under this Article by adopting a resolution proposing the issuance of bonds and describing briefly the authority under which the bonds are to be issued, the nature of the project to be financed, the estimated total cost of the project, and the maximum amount of bonds authorized to be issued. The resolution shall direct that the proposition to issue the bonds be submitted to the electors of the township.
