§ 25-15 — Membership; terms; vacancies

The Board shall consist of 9 voting members who are residents of this State and are appointed by the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, and one voting member who is a student at Northeastern Illinois University. The student member shall be elected by a campus-wide election of all students of the University. The student member shall serve a term of one year beginning on July 1 of each year, except that the student member initially selected under this amendatory Act of the 91st General Assembly shall serve a term beginning on the date of his or her selection and expiring on the next succeeding June 30.
