Villages and incorporated towns with population of less than 50,000; president; trustees; clerk. In villages and incorporated towns with a population of less than 50,000, a president shall be elected at the consolidated election in every other odd-numbered year when the president is elected for a 4-year term, and in each odd-numbered year when the president is elected for a 2-year term. Except as provided in Section 2A-30a, in villages and incorporated towns with a population of less than 50,000, 3 trustees shall be elected at the consolidated election in each odd-numbered year when trustees are elected for 4-year terms, and at the consolidated election in each odd-numbered year and at the general primary election in each even-numbered year when trustees are elected for 2-year terms.
