Text
The representatives of the board or any inspector or agent of the bureau of animal industry of the United States department of agriculture shall have authority to quarantine, where found, or in any convenient place nearby, any animals affected or infected with or exposed to the contagion or infection of any contagious, infectious or communicable disease. The establishment of any such quarantine shall be immediately reported to the board and said board is authorized and empowered to prescribe such rules and regulations as may be deemed necessary for the movement within the state and the handling, method of treatment and disposition of such animals so quarantined. Written notice of such quarantine shall be given to the owner or custodian of the quarantined animals and it shall be unlawful to
