Text
The department of agriculture may after notice and hearing provide by rule for voluntary services to be performed by it at the request of the public, such as developing and implementing services relating to hazard controls, good manufacturing practices, food safety manuals for packhouse operations, sanitation standards and operating procedures for producers and packers, laboratory analyses and testing, inspecting, grading, sampling and all similar things. It may also provide for reasonable fees for performing such voluntary services; the moneys derived from this activity shall be received and handled as provided for by sections 67-3609 and 67-3611, Idaho Code. The department of agriculture may also receive and use as directed any donations, grants or federal funds available for such purpos
