§ 18-6703 — MANUFACTURE, DISTRIBUTION, POSSESSION, AND ADVERTISING OF WIRE, ELECTRONIC OR ORAL COMMUNICATION INTERCEPTING DEVICES PROHIBITED

Idaho·Title 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS·Ch. 67 COMMUNICATIONS SECURITY
(1)Except as otherwise specifically provided in this chapter any person who willfully:
(a)Sends through the mail or sends or carries any electronic, mechanical, or other device, with the intention of rendering it primarily useful for the purpose of the illegal interception of wire, electronic or oral communications as specifically defined by this chapter; or
(b)Manufactures, assembles, possesses, or sells any electronic, mechanical, or other device with the intention of rendering it primarily useful for the purpose of the illegal interception of wire, electronic or oral communications as specifically defined by this chapter, shall be guilty of a felony and is punishable by imprisonment in the state penitentiary for a term of five (5) years or by a fine of five thousand dollars ($5,000),
