Apersonwhocommitsorattemptstocommitanactofterrorismcommitsaclass“B”felony.
However, notwithstandingsection902.9, subsection1, paragraph“b”, themaximumsentence
for a person convicted under this section shall be a period of confinement of not more than
fifty years.
