Text
Unless the power of attorney otherwise provides, an agent who is an individual is entitled
to reimbursement of expenses reasonably incurred on behalf of the principal but not to
compensation. If a power of attorney does provide for compensation or if the agent is a
bank or trust company authorized to administer trusts in Iowa, the compensation must be
reasonable under the circumstances.
