Inallcaseswheretheappraisementofanysuchpropertyshallnotexceedthesumoftwenty dollars, the finder shall advertise the same on the door of the courthouse, and in three other of the most public places in the county, within five days after the appraisement, and if no person shall appear to claim and prove such property within six months of the time of taking up, it shall vest in the finder.
