Text
1.As a prerequisite to renewal of a certification, a certified real estate appraiser shall
present evidence satisfactory to the board of having met continuing education requirements.
2.The basic continuing education requirement for renewal of certification shall be the
completion, before June 30 of the year in which the appraiser’s certificate expires, of the
number of hours of instruction required by the appraiser qualifications board of the appraisal
foundation in courses or seminars which have received the preapproval of the board.
3.The provisions of section 272C.2, subsection 4, shall only apply to a certified real estate
appraiser or an associate real estate appraiser to the extent consistent with the policies
adopted by the appraiser qualifications board of the appraisal foundati
