Text
1.This chapter shall be liberally construed to effectuate its remedial purposes. Civil
remedies under this chapter shall be supplemental and not mutually exclusive. The civil
remedies under this chapter do not preclude and are not precluded by any other provision
of law.
2.This chapter shall be applied and construed to effectuate its general purpose to make
uniform the law with respect to the subject of this chapter among states enacting the same
law, and to make the reporting requirements regarding financial transactions under Iowa law
uniform with the reporting requirements regarding financial transactions under federal law.
