Text
1.A person who meets the requirements under section 522F.3, unless otherwise denied
licensure pursuant to section 522F.20, shall be issued an appraiser license that is valid for two
years from the date of issue.
2.Thefeeforacriminalhistorycheckshallbethesameasanyapplicablefeeforacriminal
history check pursuant to section 522B.5A.
3.The fee for an initial appraiser license, or renewal of an appraiser license, shall be fifty
dollars for a two-year license. An applicant who concurrently applies for both an appraiser
license, and a license as an adjuster under chapter 522C, shall only be required to pay the fee
required under this chapter or the fee required under chapter 522C.
4.The fee for reinstatement of an expired appraiser license shall be one hundred dollars.
