Text

1.An individual who applies for an insurance producer license in this state who was 7 LICENSING OF INSURANCE PRODUCERS, §522B.10 previously licensed for the same lines of authority in another state shall not be required to complete an examination. This exemption is only available if the person is currently licensed in that other state or if the request for licensure is received within ninety days of the cancellation of the applicant’s previous license and if the prior state issues a certification that, at the time of cancellation, the applicant was in good standing in that state. The certification may be obtained through the producer database.
