1.The board of directors of the association shall consist of the officers and directors of the
mutualinsuranceassociationofIowaoritssuccessorassociation, butonlyifsuchofficersand
directors are employed by a corporation organized as a county mutual insurance association
pursuant to chapter 518 or a state mutual insurance association pursuant to chapter 518A.
2.An officer and director of the mutual insurance association of Iowa shall serve in the
same capacity on the association board as the officer or director serves the mutual insurance
associationofIowaoritssuccessorassociation,butonlyiftheofficeranddirectorisemployed
by a corporation organized as a county mutual insurance association pursuant to chapter 518
or a state mutual insurance association pursuant to chapter 518A.
