Text
1.The commissioner may, if the commissioner finds that any person or organization
has violated any provision of this chapter, impose a penalty of not more than one thousand
dollars for each such violation, but if the commissioner finds such violation to be willful the
commissioner may impose a penalty of not more than five thousand dollars for each such
violation. Such penalties may be in addition to any other penalty provided by law. A penalty
collected under this subsection shall be deposited as provided in section 505.7.
2.The commissioner may suspend the license of any rating organization or insurer which
failstocomplywithanorderofthecommissionerwithinthetimelimitedbysuchorder,orany
extension thereof which the commissioner may grant. The commissioner shall not suspend
