Text
1.It shall be unlawful for a person knowingly to make a false or fraudulent statement or
representation in or relating to an application for membership or for the purpose of obtaining
money from or a benefit in a society.
2.It shall be unlawful for a person to willfully make a false or fraudulent statement in
a verified report or declaration under oath required or authorized by this chapter, or of a
material fact or thing contained in a sworn statement concerning the death or disability of an
insured for the purpose of procuring payment of a benefit named in the certificate.
3.It shall be unlawful for a person to solicit membership for, or in any manner to assist in
procuring membership in, a society not licensed to do business in this state.
