1.A distributor, dealer, or redemption center may enter into a contract or agreement with any other distributor, manufacturer, or person for the purpose of collecting or disposing of beverage containers as provided in this chapter.

2.For purposes of this chapter, any contracts entered into pursuant to this section for the 7 BEVERAGE CONTAINERS CONTROL, §455C.18 collection or disposal of empty beverage containers shall not be deemed to interfere with the refund value pursuant to section 455C.2.
