1.Any twenty-five or more eligible electors resident within the limits of any proposed
sanitary district may file a petition in the office of the county auditor of the county in which
theproposedsanitarydistrict,orthemajorportionthereof,islocated,requestingthattherebe
submitted to the registered voters of such proposed district the question whether the territory
within the boundaries of such proposed district shall be organized as a sanitary district under
this chapter. Such petition shall be addressed to the board of supervisors of the county
wherein it is filed and shall set forth:
a.An intelligible description of the boundaries of the territory to be embraced in such
district.
b.The name of such proposed sanitary district.
