1.Withinthirtydaysofreceiptofaproposaltocreateorexpandanagriculturalareawhich meets the statutory requirements, the county board shall provide notice of the proposal by publishing notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the county. Within forty-five days after receipt of the proposal, the county board shall hold a public hearing on the proposal.
2.Within sixty days after receipt, the county board shall adopt the proposal or any modification of the proposal it deems appropriate, unless to do so would be inconsistent with the purposes of this chapter. [82 Acts, ch 1245, §8] C83, §93A.7 C87, §176B.7 C93, §352.7
