Text
1.If the director has reason to believe that a registrant has filed incorrect information
with the department, for the purpose of reducing the registrant’s obligation for registration
fees or fuel taxes, the director may revoke the apportioned registration privileges on all of the
vehicles owned by the person. A person who has such privileges revoked shall be required
to register all of the vehicles owned by the person with the appropriate county treasurer for
a period of no less than one year and no more than five years thereafter. The department
may use all reports pertaining to the registration fees and motor fuel taxes in ascertaining
the accuracy of reports filed pertaining to registration fees and motor fuel taxes.
