Text
Any vacancy in the membership of the commission shall be filled in the same manner as
regularappointmentsaremadefortheunexpiredportionoftheregularterm. Intheeventthe
governor fails to make an appointment to fill a vacancy or fails to submit the appointment to
thesenateforconfirmationasrequiredbysection2.32, thesenatemaymaketheappointment
prior to adjournment of the general assembly.
